What I’m doing now
Chief Executive Officer and President of two corporations, e-dee, Inc., the
idea clearing house and CYBERNASTICS, Inc., a fitness website. I own fifteen
trademarks and fifty-seven domain names. I was a developer/builder of custom
homes in Maryland and hold memberships in NAWIC, the National Association
of Women in Construction and NAHB, the National Association of Home Builders.
My provisional trademarks are: FLEXHOME and FLEXSYSTEMS.
Special Events in my life
I am married to Brian N. Etheridge, a retired Vice President of Lockheed Martin.
I was formerly a teacher before beginning a real estate career in Colorado,
completing 20 years in the profession. I hold real estate license in Virginia
and a broker salesperson license in Florida, specializing in the marketing
of upper income custom homes. I am a lifetime member of the Montgomery Country
(Maryland) Association of Realtors Million Dollar Club.
I have served on the Government Affairs Committee, the International Affairs
Committee for the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors, the Membership
Committee for the Montgomery County Association of Realtors, was a judge for
the National Association of Realtors “Who is Today’s Realtor”
contest in 1995, and was a Certified International Property Specialist, A
Registered International Member with the International Real Estate Institute,
which holds consultative status with the United Nations. Other course work
includes several international trade seminar courses from the World Trade
Institute in Baltimore, Maryland, including “Export Marketing and Promotion”.
I hold a Master of Fine Arts degree from Simmons College in Boston, a BA degree
from the University of Denver, and a member of the Phi Beta Kappa scholastic
honorary and the Pi Beta Phi sorority, and have served a president of the
Capitol City Optimist International Service Club. I was also on the campaign
staff for Congressman Dave Weldon in ’96, ’98, and ‘00
