What I’m doing now
I finally hung up my chalk holster – well, almost – as of fall
2000. I taught structural engineering Since 1967 -- first at the University
of Toledo and since 1981 at the California Polytechnic State University in
San Luis Obispo. I am currently teaching part-time – both structural
engineering and wine appreciation (which I’ve been involved with over
30 years).
Retirement means more time for reading, wine appreciation and travel (naturally
in wine producing areas). Other on-going activities include softball, visiting
the chiropractor and sitting and drooling on my favorite bench in the downtown
plaza.
