Best Gables Memory
Leaving Ponce Jr. High and graduating on to high school was a thrilling moment,
but the three years at Gables High, making friends and being G. A. A. was
the epitome of my fun years. Winning the Ladies Doubles Badminton Championship
with my twin sister in our senior year was an added chapter in my book.
What I’m doing now
Presently my husband, Sidney (Sandy), a Miami Jackson ’54 graduate,
and I am living in Redland and maintain an avocado and mango grove. We have
two lovely children, Darryl and his wife Alison, granddaughter Lynsey, Missy
and her husband Brannon, and two Granddaughters, Rachel and Tannah.
Special Events in my life
Sandy and I have been active in our community dealing with school issues,
incorporation, land issues, zoning, historical school, and area preservation.
Being a member of the Reunion Committee has been exciting and the association
with former class mates has been fun……
